I recently read a post from my friend and colleague, Julie Jeppson that said, "Kindness is contagious." It reminded me of a conversation I had with a resident at a neighborhood party last night. He mentioned receiving a letter with negative remarks about me and said he was surprised because it didn't align with what he knew about me. The more he read it, the less he appreciated it. I assured him that my campaign has always focused on sharing positive messages, and that will never change. Kindness really is contagious so let's be kind. We are all happier for it.
When we unite in friendship, we create better communities!
National Night to Unite is a fantastic initiative that brings communities together to strengthen relationships and enhance public safety. Last night I had the privilege to connect with neighbors so we could get to know each other, to connect with local law enforcement, build trust, and discuss ways to improve our neighborhoods.
Thank you to those who hosted parties. A special thanks to Andover Fire Department, MN, Coon Rapids MN Fire Department and Anoka County Sheriff's Office for always showing up to support our community!
